Suzanne in fire ridden Santa Monica Mountains

Taken in Santa Monica Mountains, California with some mylar plastic and clear wrapping with dots to conceal Suzanne in startegic ways. Fires have passed through many times leaving some areas barren of vegetation. That's why the Pacific Coast Hwy is always closed for mudslides in Malibu where there are towering cliffs along this main coastal road.

The trees were scortched with black stumps all over the forest. The rocks were all multi-colored in reds, browns, oranges, etc., from the fire retardent the planes sprayed over the canyons. New life does grow back and flourish if it gets the chance.
